I will sing to you and praise you, for you came to me in a very deep dark place. I thank you for restoring my relationship with my son that I was destroying in that deep dark place you blessed me with two beautiful boys. You were there when I lost my eldest son and you lifted me up through all that sadness when I so no hope. I am concerned that this pandemic is far from over. Through it all you are always there for me since I was a child till my last breath hallelujah

- Thankyou for my life;
my being;
for bringing me into existence.
- Thank you for saving me when I was a young man;
that I have a daily relationship with you now;
that I hear your voice regularly and you open the scriptures to me.
- You have changed me as a result, settling my anxious, skittering heart down, and you have made me more like you.
- I want to be more like you;
I emulate you, like I did my earthly Dad.
You are my hero. I love you.
- When will this plague end?
Will we stay safe from this invisible enemy that strikes from a chance interaction or contact surface?
- Will we have enough money to ride this out? I look to the future and sometimes feel afraid, seeing want.
- When will I get to hug my friends and kids and grandkids?
When will I get to hike again? Go to a restaurant?
- But you tell us not to worry about the future.
You tell us you will take care of us.
I believe you.
- I trust you.
I will trust you all through this trying time.
You always keep your word.
We are in your care, and that’s a good place to be!
You are a loving father, a caring shepherd.
We are in good hands.
You have always helped us. You will do so again.
- From everlasting to everlasting I will praise you.
I will sing of your goodness.
Who is like our God?
Who keeps all his promises.
Who is loving towards all he has made.
Who is wise in all he does.
I love you.

In my breathing in and out I find You. In the trees that surround me You are there. The birdsong speaks of Your presence to my hearing.
Isolation and new rules of living create a void And lost or empty thoughts.
The times of communal faith and table friendship Are still with me as disrupted traditions But they come to my meditation Bringing hope to what is still coming Your love and constant presence follows after me And waits for me at home.

Oh Lord comfort me in my time of distress and troubles. Come into my heart and wrap your loving arms around me. Comfort my soul. Take away the burden of uncertainty. Help me stay in the present moment and keep you in my thoughts throughout today. Keep my focus on you so that I can see that my troubles are insignificant compared to your grace and promise of eternal life. Help me be still and know that you are my stronghold. I love you Lord and I am gradeful that your love is unconditional and that you will never leave me. I pray that I do my best to do Your will today.
