This week’s talk is a bit different, its an introduction to some of the historical context of Matthew as we begin our study of this book.

Please read the book of Matthew this week in preparation for our on-going study.

Questions for reflection:

Am I made uncomfortable by the idea of someone encountering Jesus without beginning to practice their new faith in the same way that I practice mine? If so why?

Am I willing to ask God if there are aspects of my Christian tradition that are in the way of what God is leading me into?
